“To be an Artist is to believe in Life” Henry Moore

Compassionate, funny, driven, and talented, Dale Rowse is a true artist.

A NAGLREP Social Spotlight by Darla Michelsen

Dale Rowse is a Realtor serving Los Angeles and the surrounding areas

Compassionate, funny, driven, and talented, Dale Rowse is a true artist. He loves his life to the fullest, and loves sharing it with everyone he comes in contact with, be it friends or clients. Having been a broker for 11 years, Dale was a professional dancer with various ballet companies for 15 years, before moving on to perform on Broadway and for Celine Dion in Las Vegas.

Darla Michelsen: Why did you choose to become a Real Estate Broker?

Dale Rowse: When I moved to Vegas with the Celine Dion show I knew it would be my last and I didn’t want to go back to school. Knowing that the Real Estate Market was booming in Vegas, I got my license while continuing to do the show at night. I sold my house in Florida after 3 years in 1995 and made a $30,000 profit ! That made a major impact on me!!!

DM: What do you love most about the area that you live and work?

DR: I love the weather in LA the most! Also, with the prices of homes being high it’s easy to make a good living. And people in LA move often, making for lots of opportunity here. The people in LA are always looking for opportunities and there is a lot of energy around these types of people. And lastly, networking events are well attended and it can be very inspiring to be around people who are looking to make it in the city!

DM: What is a social cause you are passionate about?

DR: Marriage Equality is at the top of my list.

DM: What are your hobbies or what do you do with your free time?

DR: Quilting, sewing, collecting art, reading and finding ways to express my creativity. (DM Side note: Dale’s quilts are truly works of art!)

DM: What are 3 things about you that most people wouldn't know?

DR: My father is a Baptist Minister, my first job was at McDonald’s, and I was very chubby as a kid.

DM: If you could sing one song on American Idol what would it be?

DR: I’d sing “ Stars” from Les Mis.

DM: If you could have any person dead or alive over to dinner who would it be and what would you serve them?

DR: I’d have Nelson Mandela to dinner- and it would be catered since I don’t cook!

DM: What is your Super Power?

DR: Charm!

DM Side note: and I think he knows when to turn it on!:)

DM: What is your Kryptonite?

DR: I hate talking on the phone…

DM: You did say you’re a REAL ESTATE BROKER!?

DM: How would you answer this question: Before I die I would like to…

DR: I’d like to know that I learned how to love and care for myself, that I am good enough and deserve to have wonderful things in my life.

Connecting with people is Dale’s strong suit. There was lots of laughter when I spoke with Dale- it would be hard not to have a fun time hanging out with him!
