“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” C.G. Jung
It was truly a privilege to talk to someone so real and down to earth. Greg Gorman not only believes in being authentic, but makes it a part of training with his new agents.
A NAGLREP Social Spotlight by Darla Michelsen
Greg Gorman has upheld high standards throughout his 25 year career as a real estate professional in Naples Florida. As a former Interior designer Greg has a true passion for homes and design, sharing his knowledge with everyone he serves.
Darla Michelsen: Why did you choose to become a Real Estate broker?
Greg Gorman: I love being in homes, and coming from a design background becoming a Real Estate Broker was a natural. It gave me a license to look at as many houses as I wanted! It’s a great way to learn about the area that you’ll be working. I train all my new agents to always be previewing homes.
DM: What is it that you love the most about where you live and work?
GG: It’s a tropical paradise and perfect weather for me!
DM: What’s a social cause or charity that you are passionate about?
GG: Over the years I’ve been involved in so many! I’ve served on boards and given a lot of time to such charities as Habitat for Humanity and Arts Council, but not currently involved with any, as I’m working on my own future.
DM: What are your hobbies or what do you do with your free time?
GG: I love to kayak and be outdoors and shop and walk and cook!
DM: What are 3 things most people don’t know about you?
GG: I was a runner for over 20 years, I grew up on a farm and I love science and the universe.
DM: If you could sing any song on American Idol what would it be?
GG: I would sing America the Beautiful.
DM: If you could have anyone dead or alive over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them?
GG: I would have Ghandi. I’d serve him a dish made with Curry or something from his native India.
DM: What is your Super Power?
DM: I really love this. Can we live without it?
DM: What’s your Kryptonite?
DM: Can you finish this statement? Before I die I would like to…
GG: Continue to make my way around the world.
Greg says that cooking and feeding people is second nature to him, that there’s no better way to connect with others than to cook and eat with them. I hope one day to have the honor of sitting down at Greg’s table, eating his food and sharing great conversation with him.
