Over the course of a 30-year career in all phases of real estate sales and management, Laura has become adept at developing effective strategies to meet the short- and long-term needs of individuals, businesses and others. Consistent throughout, Laura has remained a trusted name is Real Estate, all while being actively engaged in service to the Staten Island Community. We are based in St. George, Staten Island, 20-minute free ferry ride to NYC. In addition to being a NYS Licensed Real Estate Sales Professional, Laura is currently Secretary/Treasurer of Gateway Arms Realty Corp. and manages the Sales Division. Gateway Arms Realty, founded by her father, Bob Fitzsimmons, is a family owned and operated, Full Service Real Estate Agency, providing Property Management Services to the Staten Island Community since 1977. She along with her brother, Robert J. Fitzsimmons Jr., oversee the management of a large-scale investment/income property portfolio, along with supervision of dozens of staff members as well as a sales team of 10 real estate sales professionals. Laura is currently a Board of Trustee with the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce. An active member of the Staten Island Board of Realtors, the Multiple Listing Service and the National Association of Realtors. In order to enhance her ability to serve as many people as possible, Laura earned her Senior Real Estate Specialist, or SRES, designation in order to meet the unique needs of senior citizens and is an active member of NAR’s SRES Council and a Certified Residential Specialist and active member of the Residential Real Estate Council.
