The gay community has a fun, diverse and unique set of needs which you’d almost need to be gay to understand. I found pairing gay clients with gay realtors works best for both parties.
The ability to speak candidly with clients is not only enjoyable but effective. The usual side effects to all this open and candid conversation is the spawn of a friendship that lasts beyond the purchase of your home. Honest and uninhibited communication produces a clearer understanding between the two of us.
You must feel comfortable telling your realtor somewhat personal information about yourself in order to realize your vision. I help produce this environment in many ways, but here are a few of those ways. I listen to my clients. I don’t just hear them, and there is a notable difference worth mentioning especially among sales people. Listening is to make a conscious effort to hear or to pay attention to what you’re hearing. Hearing is the awareness of sound. I think we can all list a few instances were we knew someone could hear us, but still weren't sure if they listened.
The key to an open and honest partnership is simply getting along and enjoying each others company. If you decide to contact me our first meeting will serve to show us if we will work together well.
