Well the morning came and happily Lyle and Hunter didn't tie one on, but I could see they'd had an excellent evening. "Where'd you end up going?" I asked, figuring they might have ended up at Woody's or perhaps IBTs. They both laughed and Lyle actually blushed, "Thanks for the recommendations, you really are the full service Gay Realtor. Well, I got all dolled up in Cowboy drag and we went out to Howl at the Moon. I thought I show off my two-step, but those ladies danced circles round us. So we took off after a while and ended up at Colors . . . what a great place!" Hunter chipped in: "What he isn't telling you is that I stepped on his toes and then accidentally tripped him. Then he fell on a table circled by some serious women who were none too happy with their drinks in their laps - it was exit stage right for us. So where are we heading today?"

"I thought we'd see two listings today, one of mine which, I admit, is way out of the price limits you set, and the other one I mentioned yesterday." Hunter frowned, "How much is it?" "Well, it's a Million and a quarter, but I have to drop off a few materials and I thought you would enjoy seeing it anyway. I know where we're buying though, 7 to 900, no problem." Lyle Piped up: "Will it remind me of Tara?" "No my dear," I said "There are no oaks and no servant quarters." "Damn!"

The place really was an amazing home and, though I had no thought of selling it to Lyle and Hunter, one never knows who they might know and I figured it couldn't hurt for them to tell their friends about it. We pulled up to the gates and I punched in the code. While we were driving in I told them about the gold club membership that came with the purchase at Arizona National, the park at Sabino Canyon nearby and the drive up to Mount Lemon just down the Road. I pulled into the driveway and the two of them were visibly excited.

We had a great time there though I wouldn't let Lyle go for a skinny dip in the salt water pool; that, I said, would definitely be crossing the line. On the way to the next listing over in the Barrio Historico we ran into a bit of trouble. My car cut off all of a sudden and I couldn't get it to crank. I popped the hood and made the motions, but unfortunately I have no clue what is going on in a car motor. Luckily my good friends Matilda and Megan just happened to be driving by and saw us. Megan pulled her old ford truck over and pushed me out of the way. I could see she couldn't wait to get her hands greasy. So I introduced the boys to Matilda and invited the two of them to dinner as well, "That is, if we get the car running." I shouted out to Megan. "Crank it!" She shouted to me. I turned the key and it started like a charm. She shut the hood, wiped her hands on her jeans and leaned over the driver window. "Okay, so how many Gay Realtors does it take to fix a car?" "Five?" I ventured. "No, it's a trick question, the answer is none: you just need one Lesbian mechanic." We all laughed, I thanked them both and they said they'd meet us at the house for dinner as payment.

We stopped for lunch at the Eclectic Pizza and then went on to our showing at the Barrio, but I realized I had made a big mistake. Once they saw my fabulous listing, that $500,000 loft in the barrio just didn't measure up. "Never mind," I said, "We'll take a fresh look at the office tomorrow, and I've got a few more ideas." Truth to tell, though, I was getting a little worried, time was running out and I needed to find them a property soon if they were going to buy on this trip.

Check back with me in a few days to a week, for the next chapter in Hunter and Lyle's journey. We'll have dinner, meet some more friends and there may be a surprise. Remember, if you have any questions don't hesitate to email me or give me a ring!
