November 11, 2011 - Gender Identity was addressed as it pertains to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Code of Ethics by NAGLREP President Eric Kodner at the NAR Diversity Committee during the NAR annual meetings in Anaheim, CA. The proposal suggested is to request the NAR Professional Standards Committee redefine sexual orientation as it pertains to the NAR Code of Ethics to include gender identity. We expect our proposal to be on the NAR Midyear agenda, and hope for final resolution during the NAR annual meetings November 2012 in Orlando.
