Wells Fargo Signs On as Title Sponsor of Policy Summit
Wells Fargo, a founding partner since 2014, has signed on as the title sponsor of the 2017 NAGLREP LGBT Housing Policy Summit on March 14 in Washington D.C. This is the first LGBT housing policy forum of its kind in the industry and the association's first policy event. The one-day event is free to members and tickets are available on a first come first serve basis.

"We are so grateful to have the support of Wells Fargo for this important undertaking. LGBT rights will be at stake in the era of this new administration and, as we've seen, the support of corporate partners can be a game changer," said Jeff Berger, NAGLREP founder.

Early registration is encouraged due to limited space. There is no cost to attend but participants must cover their own travel and accommodations. A group rate is available at the host hotel. Register Now
NAGLREP Policy Summit to Focus Squarely on Housing
The NAGLREP Policy Committee of 38 volunteers has voted to focus on fair housing and federal protections for LGBTQs at the association's first policy event on March 14. This will include lobbying for the addition of sexual orientation and gender identity to federal fair housing law.

"We have many partners among other LGBTQ civil rights groups who will champion protections for the community, said NAGLREP Policy Committee Chair John Graff. "NAGLREP's best service to our community is to spearhead the conversation about federal fair housing protections that are vital to LGBTQs and especially for the transgender community which is often at greatest risk for discrimination."

Graff has spent over a decade working in politics and government prior to his career in real estate. He was an administrator at the Democratic National Committee, worked as an office manager for a member of Congress and has done community organizing at the state and federal level in Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York. Currently, he serves as a member of the NAR Public Policy Coordinating Committee and the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors Public Policy Committee.

Graff spearheads the committee along with Co-Chair Angela Jones, who is the 2016 Past President of the District of Columbia Association of REALTORS and a member of the 2016 NAR Diversity Committee. Jones, a former veteran broadcast journalist and public relations expert, currently serves on the 2017 NAR State and Local Issues Policy Committee.
